Assistant Ambulance Officers Training
Before induction into the CATS Society as Assistant Ambulance Officer( formerly called Assistant Junior Ambulance Officers or AJAOs), the candidates selected have to successfully complete the training course. The trainees selected for the training are required to be graduates and shall possess a valid commercial driving licence. The training curriculum is called the “Basic Course for Ambulance Personnel” (BCAP). Resource personnel from various disciplines are invited to deliver lectures in their speciality. Training essentially consists of three broad categories viz. Wireless communication, Driving and Specialised First-aid emergency management.
Training for Paramedics/ Drivers-2012
251 Ambulance Paramedics/ 231 Ambulance Drivers have been recruited on contract basis for the job of Paramedics/ drivers for the Ambulance services . A training for Pre hospital management/and multi speciality training had been designed by the renowned faculty members of Top Hospitals. Two weeks training were given in the various hospitals of Delhi . Drivers were also trained for the help of Paramedics and better services .
